کمیته تحریم های سازمان ملل متحد گفته این افراد وابسته به نیروی سپاه قدس هستند و نام آنها را حسین (عظیم) آقاجانی و علی اکبر طباطبایی عنوان کرده است.

این افراد پیشتر به اتهام قاچاق موشک، مواد منفجره و نارنجک به نیجریه در دادگاهی در این کشور حضور پیدا کرده بودند.
